Inspired by real-life events and set during World War II, 'Beast of War' takes us on a thrilling journey aboard a warship carrying Australian soldiers across the tumultuous Timor Sea. Suddenly, Japanese fighter jets descend from the sky, transforming the peaceful ocean into a terrifying battleground of destruction and chaos. As a group of soldiers desperately constructs a makeshift raft from scattered debris, they face a peril even more terrifying than the war itself – an apex predator lurking beneath the darkened waters. Drawn by the scent of fresh blood, a great white shark becomes their relentless and deadly enemy.

Produced by Bronte Pictures' Blake Northfield, known for films like 'Streamline' and 'Wyrmwood: Apocalypse,' along with Pictures in Paradise's Chris Brown, whose credits include 'Sting' and 'Daybreakers,' 'Beast of War' is set to commence production in 2024 across locations in Australia and Malta.
