Thousands of law enforcement officers, firefighters, and paramedics are expected to gather at a Minnesota church for a memorial service honoring three first responders who tragically lost their lives while responding to a domestic incident in Burnsville.

The community has been in mourning following the deaths of police Officers Paul Elmstrand and Matthew Ruge, along with firefighter-paramedic Adam Finseth, who were fatally shot by Shannon Gooden during a standoff at his home. Gooden later took his own life.

The memorial service will take place at Grace Church in Eden Prairie, with overflow viewing options available at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Burnsville.
