Catherine McCormack has been announced as the latest addition to the cast of the upcoming limited series 'Lockerbie,' which will delve into the tragic events of the 1988 flight disaster that claimed the lives of 259 passengers and crew members. The series, produced by Sky and Peacock, will see McCormack starring alongside Colin Firth, who will portray Dr. Jim Swire, husband of Jane Swire, played by McCormack.

The storyline of 'Lockerbie' revolves around the Swire family's heartbreaking loss of their daughter, Flora, in the terrorist attack on Pan Am Flight 103.
