The former NFL defensive lineman was taken into custody by Ann Arbor Police around 3 a.m. on a Saturday. Scruggs, a former defensive lineman at Louisville from 2008 to 2011, coincided with Moore's early coaching career at the university, where Moore started as a graduate assistant.

Originally from Cincinnati, Scruggs was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the seventh round of the 2012 NFL Draft. He went on to play in 18 games over four seasons with the Seahawks and the Chicago Bears.
