Restricted free agent forward Simone Fontecchio has agreed on a two-year, $16 million contract to return to the Detroit Pistons. His agent confirmed the deal on Saturday. Fontecchio, 28, became a key player for the Pistons towards the end of the previous season following a trade with the Utah Jazz.

During his 16 games with the Pistons, Fontecchio showcased his skills by averaging 15.4 points while shooting an impressive 42.6% from beyond the arc.
