Former President Donald Trump is continuing his legal battle to move his New York hush money case into federal court and delay his sentencing on that conviction. A notice of appeal was filed on Tuesday night, indicating that Trump will appeal to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals after a federal judge in Manhattan denied his initial request to transfer the case to the Southern District of New York.

Trump's legal team filed a petition last week to move the state case to federal court following the Supreme Court's decision on presidential immunity. They also requested the federal judge to postpone Trump's sentencing, which is currently scheduled for September 18.
