South Korean actor Song Jae-lim, known for his roles in popular K-dramas, was discovered deceased in his Seoul apartment at the age of 39. The tragic incident was reported on Tuesday when a friend, who had planned to meet Song for lunch, found his body. Authorities from the Seoul Seongdong police confirmed that no signs of foul play were evident at the scene, and a note was found in the apartment.

The police stated, 'Our initial investigation has not revealed any criminal activity. As per the family's wishes, an autopsy will not be conducted, and the deceased will be handed over to the family.' Further investigations into the cause of death will be carried out following standard procedures.

Born in 1985, Song Jae-lim began his entertainment career with the film 'Actresses' in 2009. He gained widespread acclaim for his role as a royal guard in the historical drama 'Moon Embracing the Sun' in 2012 and later appeared on the reality show 'We Got Married.' His final performance was in the musical 'La Rose De Versailles,' which concluded in October.
