Former US Olympian Gary Hall Jr. is facing the devastating loss of his home and belongings in the Palisades Fire. The 50-year-old swimming legend, who has won a total of 10 Olympic medals and six world championship medals in his illustrious career, shared his harrowing experience with the Sydney Morning Herald.

Describing the fire as worse than any apocalypse movie, Hall expressed his disbelief at the destruction he witnessed.
